Each new year brings 365 days for 365 new opportunities! Opportunities to serve, participate, and continue to Soar to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood through the Power of Us by leading with our Pearls and Ivy!
Welcome to the website of Beta Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated! As the President of this chapter, I am honored to serve and be a part of this historic and amazing community. Our goal is to serve all mankind as we strive for excellence in our community as Pearls of Alpha Kappa Alpha. Our chapter was founded in 1936 by visionary women, and since then, we have made a significant impact on the Tuskegee/Macon County communities through our scholarship and service initiatives.
Our website provides a glimpse of our chapter and the service activities we engage in. We welcome you to browse through and learn about our history, programs, and upcoming events. As members of this community, we are humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve and make a difference. We are committed to upholding the programmatic initiates of our International President and CEO, Ms. Danette Anthony Reed, by Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and SisterhoodTM. We are actively strengthening our partnerships to create a healthy, safe, and educated community by addressing the following International Program Initiatives:
The women of Beta Xi Omega Chapter are beyond excited that we are expanding these initiatives through mentoring with Empowering Our Families and continuing our mission of promoting education through Uplift Our Local Community. Our commitment to serving the community is one we hope is truly inspiring and that we continue to build strong relationships to collaboratively make a difference. Please feel free to review the links on our website to learn more about these programs. Your support is imperative to the advancement of our community. Be sure to return often for updates and to keep abreast of upcoming service activities and events. We indeed must “serve all mankind” and we look forward to continuing that legacy “by merit and culture!”
Yours through Excellence in Service,
C. August Haygood, President
